Carbohydrates- sugars and starches that provide energy to humans and animals. Examples of carbohydrates are Pasta, candy, bread, sugar, soda, flour, pancakes, popsicles, cereal,pop-tarts ect.
Lipids- A fancy word for fats. There are different types of fats such as saturated fats, unsaturated fats, and trans fats. Examples of lipids would be cake, icecream, butter, candy, MCDONALDS should be renamed LIPIDONALDS.
Proteins- An asortment of 20 amino acids and a very essential part of every animals diet. Examples of proteins would be eggs, steak, fish, and chicken.
Calorie- Heat that measures the amount of energy that a food will give off in the body.
Nutrient- The thing that animals and plants take in and then we digest the plant or animal and those nutrients provide us with nourishment.
Minerals- Elements such as Salt, Calcium, and potassium that allow the body to function properly.
Vitamins- Organic (from living or once livnig things) substances that are essential to the metabolism of the human body. Examples are vitamin D(Sun), Vitamin C (Fruits and vegetables ), and Vitamin E.
